Cancellation Policy:

We value your appointments at Touched Hair and Beauty. Kindly inform us of any cancellations or rescheduling at least 48 hours in advance, enabling our team to accommodate other clients where possible. While we understand unforeseen circumstances, last-minute cancellations or ‘no shows’ will incur fees:

•48 hours notice or more: No charge applied. 

•48 hours or less notice: 50% charge of the reserved appointment(s).

•‘NO SHOWS’: 100% charge of the service amount 

We appreciate your business. As a courtesy, we confirm appointments 48 hours prior via email, sms and our online booking partner Fresha. Please take responsibility for remembering dates and times and if you need a reminder please reach out to us to confirm your times. 

Late/Tardy Policy:

We strive to accommodate late arrivals as we understand that sometimes it can’t be avoided, as we also may keep you waiting from time to time but, to maintain our team’s schedule, clients have a 15-minute period and then we will then call to check in, if you anticipate lateness please let us know as we can adjust your services to lessen impact on the days schedule. Your appointments are reserved for you, so we will also endeavour to return the same care, by advising if we are running behind to allow you to plan for your day. 

Guarantee on Services:

At Touched, where luxury and satisfaction converge, we stand behind the excellence of our services. If, by any rare chance, your satisfaction falls short of perfection, please grace us with your feedback within 5 days of your appointment. We will promptly schedule a complimentary correction service, ensuring your experience aligns with the pinnacle of luxury. Issues reported beyond 5 days from the original appointment date will be approached with the same dedication on a case-by-case basis.

Guarantee on Services and Products:

Your satisfaction is our priority. Contact us within 5 days to arrange a call or a consultation where we can discuss the service and solution and offer corrections based on the validity of the issue. Issues reported later will be assessed case by case and may not be covered by our guarantee. 

Return faulty products within 30 days for store credit if 2/3 of the product remains.

Children's Safety:

Children under 13 are not allowed during chemical and beauty services, so please allow for care or assistance so you can enjoy your services safely. Additionally, we are unable to provide colour or chemical services to individuals under 16 due to manufacturer guidelines, we do however can offer care advice and non chemical changes for our under 16 guests.

Colour and chemical services on under 16s:

At Touched, the health and safety of our clients are of utmost importance. To align with manufacturer guidelines and ensure the well-being of our young clients, we have established a policy regarding coloring or chemical services for clients under the age of 16.

Policy Details:

No Colouring or Chemical Services:

We do not provide hair colouring or chemical services, including but not limited to perms, relaxers, and keratin treatments, to clients under the age of 16.

The decision to restrict such services for clients under 16 is rooted in our commitment to maintaining the health and integrity of their hair and scalp. Young hair and skin may react differently to chemical treatments, and the potential risks are best mitigated by waiting until a later age.

Alternative Services:

We understand the desire for creative expression and self-care at a young age. Therefore, we are happy to offer alternative services, such as haircuts, styling, and treatments including services that can incorporate parts of our range that deposit colour only or add shine and gloss without a chemical service being provided. Our team will be delighted to discuss age-appropriate options.

 This policy aims to prioritise the safety and well-being of our young clients while offering alternative services that align with their age and needs. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and positive salon experience.

Client Safety and Assistance:

At Touched Hair and Beauty, your safety is paramount. Please advise our team of any assistance you need or restrictions that you are facing and we would be happy to assist, we may on occasion also need to enquire for further information to ensure client safety. Eg: Our salon furniture has a maximum loading capacity or , and to ensure a secure and safe working environment, we may ask for your assistance in adjusting your services for safe operation of the salon equipment or we may ask if you have any knowledge of skin/scalp concerns that we may see and result in the need to adjust the products or service to not cause irritation. Your cooperation with us when discussing sensitive topics ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for both you and our team.

Before your treatment, a quick and friendly patch test is a must 48 hours in advance otherwise we may not be able to carry out your chosen service. So book your consultation first, which is refundable against your first service with us. 

Gift Vouchers

Exciting news! You can snag gift vouchers that work wonders for all treatments and products. They’re like magic, but keep in mind they’re non-refundable, can’t turn into cash, and sparkle for 12 whole months before they expire. 

Booking & Cancellations

Booking ahead is like securing front-row seats to a fantastic show. Walk-ins are cool too if there’s space. For longer services (3+ hours), a little deposit is needed. Quick heads up, cancelling last minute or failing to arrive for your appointment might mean a lost deposit and potential charges according to the salons policy’s.

Arrival Times

For the ultimate pampering, try to arrive 10 minutes early. Meet your stylist, fill out the card of wonders, and simply chill. Running late? No worries, but it might mean a slightly shorter service and we will buzz you if we’re running fashionably late ourselves!

Health Concerns

Our stylists are like superheroes, but they need to know if you have any special powers or kryptonite. Share your medical needs, allergies, or any concerns, so we can tailor your experience just for you and ensure we can deliver the full service at your chosen slot. 

Decorum

Let’s keep it cozy! Fly solo to your appointments, leave the little ones at home for some personal time. Hold off on the pre-party drinks, and let’s spread good vibes all around by ensuring the best behaviour towards the Touched team and our guests.
